Heads up, riders!
Starting January 1, 2026, fare boxes will only accept exact cash fares when boarding. Riders should switch to WisGo using a WisGo card or the Umo Mobility app for transfer and fare capping benefits.

You’ve got choices when it comes to paying your fare! For the most benefits as a rider, pay your fares using WisGo. Starting Jan. 1, riders can still use cash, but it must be exact; change cards will no longer be issued.

You’ve got choices when it comes to paying your fare! In 2026, riders can still use exact cash when boarding the bus, or load funds onto their WisGo card or account.

Have old paper passes or tickets? Be sure to use them before January 1, 2026. After that date, buses will only accept WisGo or exact cash fares when boarding.
