Valley Transit wants you to celebrate the arrival of fall fun safely and is once again offering $0.25 fares during Appleton’s Octoberfest celebration! The fare is valid for all routes beginning at 3:45 p.m. on Friday for License to Cruise and all day long on Saturday, September 24.
You can also beat the traffic on Saturday using two convenient shuttles:
- Park N Ride Lot 1: Fox Valley Technical College – Use the North Lot only, walk to the bus shelter in the East Lot near entrance one to catch the shuttle bus (map).
- Park N Ride Lot 2: Appleton East High School – Bus pick up and drop off is by the John Street parking lot.
All shuttles drop off at the Transit Center in downtown Appleton on Washington Street, near the Appleton Public Library. The shuttles run between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday and run a continuous loop from downtown Appleton to each lot. Service is approximately every 30 minutes but may be closer to 45-60 minutes during peak times (late morning and late afternoon) due to heavy traffic downtown.
