APPLETON, Wis. (Feb. 22, 2023) – Valley Transit, the public transportation service in the Fox Cities, is delaying the start-up of its services on Thursday, February 23. This includes buses and Valley Transit II. The exact time that services will resume will be announced in the morning on Thursday, February 23.
The delayed start follows a service suspension earlier today, both because of a Winter Storm Warning issued by the National Weather Service which is expected to make travel very difficult with near blizzard conditions and low visibility.
The decisions to suspend service and delay Thursday’s start time were made with the safety of riders, drivers and the community at top of mind.
