As we leave behind another year, we look back at 2023 and reminisce on all the moments that made it a great year for Valley Transit. It was a year filled with exciting updates, numerous community events, and most importantly, a stronger connection with our riders. We are thrilled to share with you some of our favorite moments that made 2023 a year to remember!
Community Events
We believe in contributing to the community that we serve and this year we participated in numerous community events that brought our riders and staff closer to the community.
Touch-a-Truck
We introduced our littlest riders to our buses at touch-a-truck events in Neenah and Appleton. A Valley Transit bus was available for kids to explore and there were chances to win prizes.
Wheelchair Wash
We showcased our Quantum securement system and shared accessibility features while connecting with riders at Numotion’s Wheelchair Wash in April.
Mile of Music
The Mile of Music bus returned with LIVE shows on board this year! It was easily one of our favorite weekends of the summer.
Parades
We were proud to be both sponsors and participants in Appleton’s Flag Day and Christmas parades this year.
New Year, New Upgrades

We launched our new bus tracking technology with an updated announcement page so riders can stay up to date with detours and route changes.
Office Renovations
We broke ground on updates to our Whitman Avenue Administrative Office in Appleton!
Connecting the Fox Cities
