Valley Transit routes 2, 15, 20 & 30 will be updated starting October 5, 2026.
These route adjustments directly align with the community-driven 2026 Transit Development Plan (TDP). The 2026 TDP incorporated extensive stakeholder and rider feedback to improve the overall effectiveness and reliability across our system. Service hours for all routes are not impacted by these changes.
The specific changes by route are described below.
Route 2
- Leaving the Appleton Transit Center: The route will permanently adopt the detour path that has been active since March 2026. After departing the Appleton Transit Center, Route 2 will travel down Franklin Street, turn left on Richmond Street, turn right on Lawrence Street, and then resume its regular route.
- Added Stops: No new stops are added. However, service to the bus stop near the Boys & Girls Club will be restored.
- Removed Stops: Bus stops along the previous route path leaving the transit center will no longer be served by route 2. This includes Appleton & Lawrence*; Lawrence & Elm; Lawrence & Walnut; Walnut & Seventh*; Walnut & Sixth*; Sixth & State; Badger & Locust; and Locust & Lawrence. Stops followed by an asterisk (*) continue to be served by other routes.

Route 15
- Leaving the Appleton Transit Center: The route path will adjust slightly near Woodman’s Market on Westhill Boulevard. After turning right onto N. Westhill Boulevard, Route 15 will turn left directly into the Woodman’s lot before returning to its regular route.
- Removed Stops: The bus stops at PetSmart and Dalton Carpet Outlet will be removed.

Route 20
- Route Path Changes in Kaukauna: When heading south on Crooks Avenue, Route 20 will continue down to the roundabout at E. College Avenue. The route will then head back north on Crooks Avenue, turn left on E. 10th Street, turn right onto Kenneth Avenue, and then return to its regular path.
- Added Stops: Stops will be available at 2101 Crooks; Crooks & E. Ann (near Piggly Wiggly); Crooks & E. Henry; Crooks & 14th; Crooks & 12th; and 10th & Hendricks Avenue.
- Removed Stops: Bus stops along the previous routing in Kaukauna will no longer be served by route 20. This includes Henry & Main; Henry & Hendricks; Henry & Glenview; Glenview & 17th; Glenview & 15th; 13th & Sullivan; Sullivan & 12th; and Sullivan & 10th.

Route 30
- Leaving the Appleton Transit Center: The route will permanently adopt the detour path active since May 2026. After departing the Appleton Transit Center, Route 30 will travel down Franklin Street, turn left on Richmond Street/Memorial Drive, and then return to its regular route.
- Added Stops: New southbound stops will be available at S. Memorial & 8th and S. Memorial & 5th.
- Removed : Bus stops along the previous route path leaving the transit center will no longer be served by route 2. This includes Appleton & Lawrence*; Appleton & Prospect*; Prospect & Walnut; and Prospect & State. Stops followed by an asterisk (*) continue to be served by other routes.
